How do I select a murder mystery theme?
Much of the night revolves around the theme (costumes, decorations, food, acting) and would therefore be a great idea if selection is made with the guests in mind. Please see the above options to choose from.
Should we decorate our venue?
Nothing says murder like a fresh crime scene. Crime scene tapes, bloody handprints, a knocked over table lamp etc., can give your guests a much better time when you "set the scene" with decorations.

You can choose to host the party in your home, office, church, school, etc. Larger groups have rented spaces like in hotels or banquet halls. The hosts needs to find out if there will be freedom to decorate, enough parking spaces, any time limits and cost of the venue.
What food should we serve?
If you are going to serve food, you should plan the menu around the party. You can never go wrong with finger foods. For larger groups themed menus may add to the atmosphere. There will be a lot of mingling between the guests and therefore having a buffet or hors d’oevres will probably work best.
Are the games suitable for teenagers?
